Support Team - Community Suggestion

    So I had this idea, it would be called Support Team, I have seen this idea on many communities that are medium or bigger sized. The idea works great, so basically what it is, is that Support Team would have a few channels in TS, one would be called Support Team Lobby, then the rest would be Support Team Rooms.

    The job of support team is to take care of all players issues. So lets say a player needed a staff member for SantosRP, Support Team would contact one and have him talk to the player. They deal with all community issues and would redirect them to the person they need for that specific problem.

    However Support Team would have to log ever situation. They would log who it was, what the problem was and how it was solved. This would greatly improve the players experience as they have someone they can easily contact. The ranks could be as follows.

    Support Team Trainee
    Support Team
    Senior Support Team
    Support Team Director

    From what I was told is that is run differently then how I have suggested. As well it was apparently a shitty support team. So why kill the idea? It wasnt the ideas fault, put in good support team.

    From what I hear it was horribly managed. The thing is there is many players that have issues and people are tired of getting spam poked, if we have Support Team then that wont happen or would reduce it greatly.

    The way you suggested that the "Support Team" should work, is just adding a middleman, which is pointless. Let the players contact staff themselves, instead of having to contact someone, to contact staff.

    I don't think you understand.

    I have been part of 3 different t communities. All tried a support team, all failed. We tried one 4 times, it failed.

    No-one wants to do it, no-one even follows our current CoC you really think they'll think to ask support?

    No matter what, it fails.

    Middle men are sometimes the key, the thing is people arent following the Chain of Command however if Support Team's main purpose is too HELP ALL players then that would improve the player experience.

    Like I said, they say it was horribly managed, why dont we try it with someone who can properly manage something, I dont get why we cant try it, all you would need to do is set up some TS tags, TS channels and inform players of Support Team. The Director of Support Team would be managing it.

    I guess I am mildly confused, we already have TeamSpeak directors and forum directors who we can ask for assistances. Why do we need a support them when we already have support departments we can go too?

    They're job isn't to answers players questions like that, players should be following the Chain of Command. However if Support Team was added they would come to them because their job is too legit help all players.

    I don't see a point. Between SD and HD the same thing is born. Managers also help and HR manages inactive or bad managers so basically we already have one.
    Plus, it seems like you're tryna get rid of directors. That's not happening

    That already falls into the hands of staff though. And if anything, the amount of people that need help with those problems isn't a ton, so the staff aren't overloaded with it.

    They said that 4 times. Each new support team was supposed to be the good one. None were, all died.

    Same.
    Exact.
    Problem.
    Every.
    Time.

    And each one said "Oh well the problem with the last was it was managed horribly"

    It's unnecessary, useless in EVERY aspect, and is another thing to phase out our directors.
